2005 Photos of "Our Herd"
We had a discussion a few weeks ago about how hard it is to take photos of the Connemaras as they are so nosy and VERY hard to scare! We had tried everything and finally thought an umbrella opening and shutting just might do it and separate out the two year olds! As you can see, THAT idea bombed! The only way we could get them going at all was to RUN after them, umbrella opening and shutting. I shudder to think what the neighbors thought was going on!
This is the "herd", who are very hard to photograph as they are NOT afraid of most things, showing that "the umbrella trick" held by Anita (and later chased by Anita) is not scary to THEM......Shanti in front (dun), Roshaun behind her (grey), and Curran trying to get under the umbrella with her (chestnut).
Another attempt was made but they were faster,
and grouped up once again with Anita. Curran trying to untie shoes while
Shanti gives a gentle push. Others look on.
