Karahty's Sir Era is out of Sierra Bonnie, my very favorite mare. She did everything for me, including placing top ten, receiving a l000 mile medallion award from AERC in endurance, and gaining me a Tevis buckle at l5! She was put down peacefully at age 29 in my field where she still can keep an "eye on things..." Sierra Bonnie was NOT an Arab, but a registered Quarter Horse! Karahty's Sir Era's sire, Wazir's Karahty, needs no introduction to endurance riders. Sir gains his heritage naturally. He has done well in endurance, completing many miles, including the 250 mile Pony Express ride and placing 8th over all. (To do this, he had to finish 50 miles per day for five days, and be passed by the vets "to go on" the next day. Congratulations Sir from your former "mom"). He is owned by the Potter Family in Penryn, California.
